lemon tree torontoLemon Tree Patisserie is easy to miss. Find it in the depths of the St. Lawrence Market a couple of steps away from Rube's Rice. There, the owner has a small stand where she sells her fresh and tasty macarons.

These Macarons are the best period. Try the rasberry and chocolate and get there early before there all gone. mmmmmmm

These really are some of the best macarons in town. I actually try not to go by her stand so often at the Market because I inevitably buy a dozen and eat them all on the same day! My favourites are the strawberry and pistachio, yum!

I make the trip into town, into the St. Lawrence Market specifically for these. Well worth the hour-long trip. Positively sublime.

FYI The owner Kelly went on mat leave this past January 2012.
Can't wait until she comes back!
Ordered macarons and cake pops from her for my baby shower and they were DELICIOUS!
