Dessert LadyDessert Lady is a tiny Yorkville bakery that offers ribbon-tied bags of cookies in unconventional flavours like "smoked chili chocolate" and "double chocolate banana." "The chili will burn your throat," I'm considerately warned with my first purchase. And indeed it does. Sweet and spicy - a cookie marriage. I'm addicted.

The cupcakes I bought were really bad. So dry and the frosting was greasy.
They did not taste fresh. What a waste of money :(

The Dessert Lady is a great little bakery, in a downtown that overall does lack nice bakeries and sweets shops.

Their cakes are amazing, and while the poster above does not like them, I tend to like their cupcakes.

Every time I bring cakes or baked items from Dessert Lady, people always comment on how good they are and want to know where I got them.

I am a big fan of Dessert Lady cupcakes, not too sweet. They bake fresh everyday. My co-worker and me always try to be there at around Noon time, never disappointed! My favorite one is the Rich Fudgy Chocolate, so moist! The Mocha buttercream icing is to die for. I recently had the french macarons. My favorite is the Crunchy Hazelnut and Coco Passion!!

I love their pumpkin pie and red velvet cupcakes. I've been back 2 times already this week. I'm going to try their chocolate truffles next, they look good.

Best cupcakes I have found in the city, and I have tried a lot of them! The staff's always very nice as well. It's a great bakery that I highly recommend.
