my suggestions for improvement:
1) always have 2 people behind the counter at each section (whole cakes and cake slices)
2) have the catalogue out on display and customers who want to see the catalogue or want to talk about catering should be referred to the manager.
3) never leave the counter to attend to a customer with special requirements, especially when you have other customers waiting for a significant amount of time
i don't think i'm ever coming back even if their cakes are good. there are other places.
