2012409-Beaches-Easter-Parade-2012-5913.jpgThe annual Beaches Easter Parade along Queen street has always been fairly inclusive, and this year was no exception with a little bit of everything on display for those who lined the route. Usual highlights like the vintage TTC vehicles and Easter bunny made an appearance, but how could they compete with the mayor himself, Mr. Rob Ford? RoFo distributed easter eggs and posed for the cameras a few times, seemingly unperturbed by the presence of the Peter Witt streetcar in his vicinity. Time, it seems, heals all wounds.

Toronto Pillow Fight 2012Yonge and Dundas Square was the scene on Saturday for the 7th annual Toronto edition of what has become a worldwide Pillow Fight Day. This was the second year that the melee took place after dark, which did anything but dampen the level of enthusiasm of the participants.

Although there were fewer costumes present than in the past, a good portion of the crowd did have the requisite bunny ears — they didn't last long once the pillows started flying — and Toronto Batman even put in an appearance before the festivities got under way in earnest.
