Why Act Now?
Fashion truly does care about creating a future of health and happiness. That's why the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) has been working with MAC over the past twenty years to raise money through Fashion Cares. I love the fashion, theatrics, and more importantly what Fashion Cares does to contribute to the fight against AIDS.
So why act now? If you can answer this question you too can do the YouTube. Simply set your creative flare free, upload a short video anytime until mid-February and you and a friend could win travel, accommodations, a make-over and free tickets to the Fashion Cares gala at the Distillery District on May 12, 2007. For contest details, check out the Fashion Cares website.

Stylish Storage At Store Your Style
There is nothing worse than buying something new and being at a loss for space. Don't laugh. Okay, fine, laugh. I would too. However real or ridiculous this problem seems to you, Store Your Style has a new stylish storage solution.
Store Your Style's studio is just a hop, skip and jump away, located at 260 Adelaide Street. You will be treated to your very own Devil Wear's Prada-like closet with maximum security, wooden hangers, breathable storage boxes and garment bags surrounded by the natural aroma of lavender and cedar in a climate and humidity controlled studio.
I think this is the most brilliant business idea for people who are cramped for space but don't want their wardrobes to suffer. Store Your Style will come to your house and transfer your clothes to and from the studio in between seasons for $59.99 per month. It definitely won't break the bank, but at just over $700 a year I think I'll upgrade to a larger apartment first. One thing is for sure: we'll never run out of space again.

Make A Splash With Whoosh Heads

A loose or leaky swim cap can be just as annoying as goggles that don't seem to keep the water out of your eyes. Cut down on drag time with the playful caps by Whoosh Heads, a Toronto based company led by design duo Lynn MacEachen and Paul Takeda.
I absolutely love this product because I'm at the pool six days a week. "Stylish" and "swim caps" are hardly words that go well together. In fact, my swim team often makes fun of my tacky, bright and ugly neon orange cap. I can't wait to show them these cute caps in the Ameoba, Flower and Butterfly prints (pictured above). The caps are 100% silicone which is much more comfortable than latex and far more practical than fabric.
Give your tired tresses a rest with a cute cap by Whoosh Heads, a good clarifying shampoo (like ABBA's vegan friendly Molasses Purifier), and of course, a deep conditioner. Now, we can all enjoy swimming with a little more style. Whoosh Heads is available at Snazzygirl, Enduro Sport, or Sporting Life for $9.99.
