Hot Girl-on-Girl Action Jackson

It was my first girl-on-girl experience and I felt like I was a 15-year-old boy. Again.

Clumsy hands, awkward posture, not knowing what to do exactly. It brought back horrible images of high school -- making out with my first boyfriend in my bed at my parents', nervous laughter and me apologizing for maybe doing things wrong.

I met this girl and her dominating boyfriend off someone off Craigslist. Word of mouth from strangers -- that's weird enough. She and I got together one night and on her bed, she started to kiss me on the lips. Her, being completely bisexual and experienced, she wore the pants between the two of us.

Toronto Kicks Its Way into Guinness World Records Day

Posted by Jenny / November 9, 2006

Instead of eating slugs or balancing chairs, Torontonians like to keep things simple when it comes to setting world records -- we like to kick up our heels.

In fact, 1,681 people showed up just before 9 a.m. today, and linked their arms in a line that circled around the Front Street Hummingbird Centre and performed the can-can for five minutes straight with the help of NYC's Radio City Rockettes and made a new mark on Guinness World Records Day.

Carey Low, a representative of Guinness World Records, confirmed that the dance line set a new world record. The previous record, set in Stein, Germany, in July 2004, was 1,150.

Other Toronto Guinness records previously include Yonge Street being the world's longest street and the CN Tower as the world's tallest building.

Now we're known for our awesome dance skillz too.

Trees Asking If They're Liked on Bloor

Passing by Bloor, east of Bathurst last night, I noticed a pink note tacked to a tree asking folks if they liked them or not. But what would this tree do with this information? Mail it to Parliament and lobby against climate change? Actually, that would be kinda cool.

This was taken at Ossington and Bloor recently. Glad to know that despite Toronto being a big city, there's still room for lovin'. Even if it is in the backseat of a Chevy.

Cuddle Phishing

Posted by Jenny / October 28, 2006

Cuddle Parties are like sleepovers without rest, gossiping and putting bras in the freezer. (C'mon, you know that's what ALL sleepovers in grade school were like.)

I join the 10-odd boys and girls all ranging from their 20s to 60s at Wonderworks near Harbord and Spadina in my PJs and for the first hour, moderator/feng shui consultant Cecilia Moorcroft goes over the "rules" of Cuddle Party.

The Blueprint to End Homelessness

Posted by Jenny / October 26, 2006

This afternoon, the Wellesley Institute unveiled a report that tackles the city's homeless crisis. Toronto Disaster Relief Committee co-founder Michael Shapcott has been spearheading the Blueprint to End Homeless for the past eight months.

The institute is asking all levels of government to adopt the plan to immediately move up to half the sheltered homeless into homes through an enhanced rent supplement program (which bridges the gap between what a person can afford to pay and what the landlord is asking); and fund almost 200,000 new and renovated homes in healthy, mixed-income neighbourhoods over the next decade.

"Shelters are so full now that people are getting turned away or they have to sleep on mats on the floor," says Shapcott, the principal author of the report. "A few year ago, we had an outbreak of Tuberculosis in one shelter and several people died, so it's a really serious issue."
