And that's a wrap. Our coverage of the Spring/Summer 2012 collections from LG Fashion Week is now complete. And along with all the words and photos that you can find on this site and on the blogTO Facebook page, we also have daily video coverage of individual shows, backstage action plus other stuff. And this year we've also produced a daily video diary so you can catch up on the entire week in fifteen minutes or less. All the videos are posted on our LGFW Vimeo channel but are also embedded below for your convenience.

One of the most interesting things we've seen at Fashion Week is the transformation that each model goes though as she moves from show to show. Over the past few days we've taken a lot of photos, posted some to the blogTO Facebook page and others to the site. We also met up with Steph, a Ford model who was appearing in a number of shows. We followed her for a few hours and this video is the result:

The final show on Tuesday night at LG Fashion Week was probably the most mainstream of the week - if you don't count Joe Fresh. The design was Jay Manuel and his eponymous women's wear line is exclusively available at Sears. Heading backstage before the models graced the runway I found a coterie of smokey-eyed models with strong highlighting and big, wavy, curly hair. They were instructed to walk so that wind would blow their hair back and there was plenty of chatter about the slippery runway.

It seemed that all the models gathered around the live video feed and most were saying how comfortable the clothes were, save the two outfitted in bikini bottoms. As one of them remarked, it's just one of those "this is going to be so far up my ass" job hazards.

There's always plenty to soak in during the five action packed days of LG Fashion Week - and that's not even counting the rogue shows sprinkled before and throughout. While we've posted more detailed photos, videos and reviews from the runway and backstage in our special Toronto Fashion Week section, we have also created a three minute visual recap of the week that was for the attention/time starved fashion fiends among us.

Toronto's favourite designer duo, Greta Constantine, unveiled their Spring/Summer 2011 collection last night in advance of LG Fashion Week. Designers Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong, whose renegade fashion week shows almost always trump all the official ones created even more buzz this year as their close friend, Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha, struted down the runway at the invite-only affair at downtown Audi. Fur and leather were recurring themes at this year's LG Fashion Week in Toronto. It all started on Sunday night when IZMA unveiled what was basically an ode to fur (and a slap in the face to PETA) including selections from raccoons, foxes and beavers. Then throughout the week fur continued to make an appearance all the way to the 6pm show on Thursday when Rudsak made its pitch to keep guys and girls warm through the winter months with its collection of military inspired leather coats, some with fur trim.
