The new gourmet burger? Another Izakaya opens

Posted by Gadjo Sevilla / July 8, 2010

Toronto IzakayaIf gourmet burgers were a recent breakout food trend, this year looks like it's shaping up to be the year of the Izakaya. Found in the old Java Joe's near Bay and Gerrard this fast food restaurant might look like a typical Lebanese shawarma and kabab joint. But it's the mini pizzas here (including the delectable zatar above) that really make this place go zing.
