Liberty Village continues to experience restaurant boom

Liberty Village RestaurantDaniel Lynn and Tracey Coutts have taken over the space formerly occupied by the Liberty Bistro with an eye towards a higher end dining experience. Lynn, formerly of Zucca and Splendido, has crafted a menu that's likely to be a hit for business lunches and area folk in the mood for a refined meal.

Parkdale finally gets a decent sushi joint

Parkdale SushiThe latest opening by Rob Barton (of Nyood fame) boasts a sushi fusion menu paired with fun cocktails - a combination that toes the line between Japanese restaurant and after-work-drinks hot spot. You'll find familiar dishes such as gyoza, sushi rolls, and deep fried ice cream, but rendered with an inventive touch.
