Congratulations to Amy, the winner of this weeks' giveaway.

She noted correctly that the book is based on Richler's documentary Literary Atlas of Canada on CBC Radio One.

More fun with next week - I bet you didn't even know we had so many awesome local authors.

I definitely knew we had a bunch, I'm discovering new ones all the time with your posts, so keep them up Katherine!

(One day, I'm going to finish that half-written novel sitting in my drawer and hopefully see my name in one of your posts too!)

Ha! I did that two years ago, and I ended up with a pretty decent storyline but only about 55 pages of text. The unfinished story is still sitting in one of my drawers (yes, I did it on a typewriter, old school style).

Don't think I have the time for it this year, sadly.
