Humpday Giveaway: This is My Country, What's Yours?

Posted by Katherine / October 4, 2006

20061004_this%20is%20my%20country.jpgThis week's humpday giveaway (and a welcome one, too, on such a gloomy day) is Noah Richler's This is My Country, What's Yours?

I'm excited about it because it's nice to see a book that really celebrates our literary voice, since we have such an inferiority complex about our culture. Love 'em or hate 'em, we've got some real voices.

The first person to email me with the answer (katherine at blogTO.com) to the following question will have a copy - definitely a cool book to read on the TTC or GO.

Richler's book is based on another work of his in a different milieu - what was it and through what means was it communicated?

My inbox awaits.

You didn't post your email address.

The answer is: This Is My Country, What's Yours? is based on Noah Richler?s ten-part documentary of the same name originally broadcast on CBC Radio?s flagship Ideas program in spring 2005.

Judging from past contests, it's katherine@blogto.com, which is where I sent my answer. :)
