Fresh Pole Art

Not long ago, I saw a photo of some rather intriguing Toronto street art posted to Wooster Collective. They credit this shopping cart on pole installation piece to Specter of the visual and street art group Kops Crew.

Cruising the blogTO Flickr pool today (Toronto Flickr users: please join up!), I came across a recent photo of what may be a new installation on the same pole.

Is this the same pole? Is this once again the work of Specter of Kops Crew? Anyone?

No, that second photo is for an adult "toy shop" on Queen Street E. It's always outside during business hours (not sure about afterhours, though). Not sure what this place is called and can't remember exactly where it is, either.

The place is called She and He Clothing Gallery. The mannequins (there are two) sit on the lifeguard chairs outside the store. It is 263 Queen East.

They're taken inside after business hours.

...just in case anyone wanted to steal a 'date' for the evening.

In that neighbourhood (Queen/Sherbourne) it's not the only dates that are being acquired down there.

Nor the only things getting stolen.

This is at Queen & Sherbourne (Moss Park area)?! I lived at Richmond & Sherbourne (just around the corner) for 8 months and never saw this display. I suppose it's not out in the winter months. I also rarely walked east.

the first one is outside OCAD on McCaul st. It was installed during the Graduation exhibit.

Yeah, I lived in that Warehouse at Richmond & Ontario. It's just wets of ONtario, on the south side of the street.
