View '05 Amnesty International Art and Auction

Over 20 Toronto artists, including Graham French, Florin Zamfirescu, and Sandy Pereira, donated their work to Amnesty International's View '05, a multi media art exhibit and silent auction, running evenings from tonight until Oct 6th at Fez Batik Lounge (129 Peter St).

(check out those artist links, by the way, French's landscape photography is dreamily beautiful, and Pereira's style is bright, sharp and exacting)

On Thursday, Oct.6, AI will host a closing party for at Fez Batik from 7-9pm. Cover is only 5$, and all proceeds from the event and art sales will go to AI. And there will be nibbles. You know you want hors d'oevres, don't try to hide it.
