Rob MacInnis loves farm animals. And if that's not evident enough in his work, just ask him how many hours he's spent at the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada.
Those who've been to CONTACT, the Toronto Outdoor Arts Festival or some of the local galleries in recent years will likely be familiar with his Farm Families project. It has received a decent amount of media coverage and why not? It's wholly original, somewhat absurd and strangely captivating all at the same time. It earned him a trip to Art Basel as well as a spot among Canada, the US and UK's emerging photographers in Flash Forward 2007.
Most recently, MacInnis was featured on Snapshot, a six part series on Bravo that showcases innovative Canadian photographers.

I bought the donkey on the lower left at the SNAP09 silent action. I had to fight to get it, but I
I got cut off there. I was going to say: But I
We loved the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada. The donkeys in the barnyard are so friendly and the "Donkey Talks" informative. We also enjoyed the nature trail around the pond.
