Magda Trzaski isn't sure where her inspirations come from but suspects they're a product of day to day life working out of her studio space at AWOL Gallery on Ossington. From grabbing coffee at nearby Ideal to regular chores like doing laundry, it all adds up to something very creative.
She's very interested in relationships and the motivations that lead people to do the things they do. Perhaps that's why much of her art involves intricately sculptured animal and human like figures, the latest of which will be on display at Bau-Xi gallery starting December 6th. The particular exhibition is called Darkest Corners and will deal with the gloomy side of ones personality.
Beyond the Bau-Xi, Trzaski's creations can be found at C1 Art Space and La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles.
