This Week in Theatre: April 16-24

Here are this week's Picks for theatre in Toronto. Music and Monsters reign supreme!!!

Yes Yoko Solo - by Jean Yoon. Yoon's solo show features a theatrical melding of music, art and poems by Yoko Ono. Runs to Apr 22 at Factory Theatre .

We Will Rock You - In the future, youths rebel against synthesized pop and a corporation's music monopoly. Besides what I hear is a somewhat shoddy story, the music is fantastic and, like Mamma Mia, if you're a fan of Queen you'll love it. Limited Run at the Canon Theatre. Or look it up at We Will Rock You

Noble Parasites - The Dora-winning playwright behind Poochwater is back with two arch tributes to Sci-Fi's dark side. In the tradition of 1984 and The Handmaid's Tale, Noble Parasites imagines two sinister futures: an underground society on the edge of extinction, and an ultra-modern world on the brink of environmental meltdown. Until April 29th at Theatre Passe Muraille
