As even the most casual soccer fan knows, Italy defeated Germany 2-1 yesterday to advance to the finals at the 2012 Euro. As you might expect, College Street and Corso Italia erupted with fans who poured out of restaurants and bars to celebrate the victory. Is this a glimpse at what's to come on Sunday when the Azzurri take on Spain for the championship? There's no doubt they're in tough against the current World Cup champions, but one thing's for sure: you can multiply Thursday's celebrations by 10 if they do pull it out.
