THEATRE | World Stage 2012: "Everything Under The Moon"
World Stage returns to Harbourfront Centre, and kicks off tonight with "Everything Under The Moon" a collaboration between Toronto musician Christine Fellows, and internationally recognized artist Shary Boyle. This show is a musical narrative communicated through Fellows' song and Boyle's analog projections. Boyle is an old hand at this sort of thing, having cut her teeth at accompanying live musical performance back in TO clubs in the '90s with friends such as Feist, Peaches, and others. She then collaborated under the pseudonym "Darkhand" (likely a reference to the shadow cast by her hand moving across the projector stage) with folk artist Doug Paisley for a stretch before concentrating on other outlets for her art, such as figurines. It is great to see her back working with live projections, a form of art that is only recently being acknowledged by a handful of US museums as being a 'legit' medium, and part of art history, via pioneers like Glen McKay and Joshua White. Definitely worth checking out! The World Stage season and its various programs runs until May.

CULTURE | Northbound Leather's 22nd Anniversary of Fetish Night
If a main ingredient in a good night out for you is 'leather,' you might want to hit the Revival Bar tonight. Northbound Leather presents TO's longest running fetish night, and it is indeed all about leather! DJ Jimi Lamort will provide the tunes for this one, and who knows where it will go? As with most fetish nights, there will be a dungeon area for you to enjoy, and you are encouraged to bring any gear that you might require. You can certainly come out and gawk, but you must blend in, so be sure to wear your fetish attire, as this dress code will be in effect.

COMEDY | Open Stage Sketch Night
Ok.. this sketch troupe walks in to a bar, and... signs up for Open Stage Sketch Night! That's right, The Comedy Bar hosts the equivalent of an 'open mic' for sketch groups tonight. If you love comedy, but are looking for something a little different from standup, this might be a good thing to check out. You can expect some regulars to perform, such as Vest of Friends, Lady Stache, Primo, Brain Drops, James Gangl, and The Young Geologists. Dan Galea and Laura Cilevetz will be our hosts this evening.

ART | Craft'd
For those with a penchant for some artsy merch, and who are out and about this morning and afternoon, check out "Craft'd" at The Gladstone Hotel! This will be a very cool event featuring serious art and design goods for sale, with five pop-up shops set up just for you! Merchants will include Fifty Fingers, Curiosity Chest, Young and the Restless, Electric Arc, and "&nd". Everything from household goods to jewellery, and more will by on display and for sale. Come and check out what TO's finest designers and crafters have to offer!

CULTURE | Salon Noir - The Surreal Speakeasy featuring David J
An evening of 'dark decadence' awaits you at Lula Lounge tonight! With the roaring '20s' speakeasy as a theme, Bauhaus and Love & Rockets alumnus David J has put together an evening of entertainment that includes a swinging set of his own, plus the flapper-style dance troupe The Sugar Shakers. There will also be burlesque performances by Beau Dayshus and Esther De Ville, and Expressions, a barbershop quartet will perform. To complete the vintage and goth vibe, absinthe will be the drink of the evening, courtesy of sponsor Lucid. Look for some inventive cocktails on the menu.

MUSIC | TWELVE: The Wavelength 12th Anniversary Festival
The Wavelength 12th Anniversary Festival wraps up tonight with a show at The Garrison, having begun its four-night stretch on Thursday at Parts & Labour. Wavelength began as a regular Sunday night showcase of carefully curated acts that soon became a TO institution, and after show number 500, things chilled a bit and events have become more infrequent, but go down on a decidedly larger scale, sometimes outside of the club circuit we know and love dearly. Tonight's offerings include PS I Love You, Burning Love, Army Girls, Motem, and Most People.

MUSIC | Freeman Dre & the Kitchen Party
An evening of music goes down tonight at everyone's favorite comfy Bloor West hang, The Holy Oak. The folky stylings of Freeman Dre & the Kitchen Party seem perfect for this venue, and the more edgy sound of Broken Bricks will be a compatible contrast that might work nicely. As an added bonus, there will be a solo set by Luke Kuplowsky of Broken Bricks, and a solo set by Stephen Prickett, as well. Should be good!

ART | Sunday Scene with David McIntosh
If you are a lover of art, and want to dig deeper into what's being offered at The Power Plant, you should consider attending Sunday Scene: it's a chance to get an insider's take on what's going on at the gallery from someone knowledgeable in the art world. This afternoon. David McIntosh will be speaking about the gallery's current exhibition, "Coming After". McIntosh is Professor of Media Studies at OCAD University, in addition to being a writer, curator and artist himself. Sunday Scene is always free with gallery admission.
