MUSIC | NCKBRK // 003
Tonight it's NCKBRK Number 3, folks! This is a special event showcasing instrumental music that is progressive and cutting edge. Instrumental music that exists outside of the world of jazz or classical music has a steep hill to climb, existing often in niche scenes, or underground. It is usually the most die-hard music heads who see the completely engaging experience instrumental music can offer, without the need of a vocal to focus on, or use as a point of entry. Tonight's event will feature Sylvermayne, Taktiks, and Kaewonder. Prepare to be 'engaged'!

ART | Sunday Scene with Rosemary Donegan
If you have never been to a Sunday Scene at the Power Plant Gallery, it is an amazing opportunity to get some insight into what is going on at the gallery, coming straight from an individual with some prominence in the art world. This week's speaker is Rosemary Donegan, and she currently holds the position of Associate Professor at OCAD University, and held the position of Graduate Program Director of the Criticism & Curatorial Practice program. Her experience and knowledge of 'curating' will give her an excellent vantage point from which to deliver some insight on the current exhibition Stan Douglas: Entertainment - Selections from Midcentury Studio.
