Radar: A Memorial Yoga Class for Jenna Morrison, Christmas Benefit at the Great Hall, REAson d'etre Holiday FUNdraiser, and Before the Curtain

CHARITY | A Memorial Yoga Class for Jenna Morrison
It has been over a month since cyclist Jenna Morrison was killed at Sterling Road and Dundas Street West, and to honour her, her friends from Lululemon and 889 Yoga and Wellness Spa invite the public to a free Vinyasa Flow yoga class at Hart House tonight. The class will be taught by 889's Nicky Poole, a friend of Jenna's, and Belmonte Raw will provide snacks. Donations will be accepted for a trust fund in the name of Jenna's five-year-old son Lucas. Bring a yoga mat and a kind heart.

MUSIC | Fucked Up Christmas Benefit #1
Want to go to a fucked up Christmas benefit? Toronto's favourite hardcore punk band are giving back this holiday season by headlining a benefit at The Great Hall tonight. Performing along with Kingston noise rock band PS I Love You and psychadelic rockers Quest for Fire, the proceeds from Fucked Up's all ages show will go toward the Barriere Lake Legal Defense Fund, to protect the land rights of the Algonquin people of Barriere Lake in Quebec, and COUNTERfit's memorial project for drug users who have died due to the war on drugs. DANCE | REAson d'etre Dance Productions Holiday FUNdraiser
Dora-nominated choreographer Kathleen Rea brings her dance production team at REAson d'etre to perform in an evening filled with music, dance and choreography. Performances will include music from 60s-inspired acoustic folk rock band The Dull Eyed Llamas and performance art collective Jeff Burke and the Subtonic Monks. Additionally, the annual noisy auction will take place to further support this charitable organization with their upcoming 2012 projects.

MUSIC | Before the Curtain Live at the Horseshoe
Peterborough natives Before the Curtain are the latest in a string of rising Canadian pop rock bands that are gaining international recognition. Tonight, BTC play a free live show at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern for their Toronto fan base. Backed by Sludge Factory Records, the brainchild of Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace, this free show will support the release of their first single, "I Want It All" in order to position the band for their future album release. Doors open at 9PM.
