Tonight at The Gladstone Hotel, you will find William B. Davis' book launch for ""Where There's Smoke... Musings Of A Cigarette Smoking Man". This book tells Davis' story, and the man has had quite an interesting acting career that goes back to the '50s, and includes his stint on the "X-Files" as Cancerman, as well as considerable experience in the area of theatre, rubbing elbows with the likes of Donald Sutherland, Sir Laurence Olivier, and Albert Finney. Davis will have a interview/conversation with Richard Crouse, and there will be an opportunity to get your copy of his book signed if you desire.

FILM | Bonsai People: The Vision of Muhammad Yunus
The TO premiere of "Bonsai People: The Vision of Muhammad Yunus" goes down tonight! This screening will be a great opportunity to check this film out, as there will be a Q&A with director Holly Mosher following the film. "Bonsai People" is a full-length documentary following the work of Muhammad Yunus, the Nobel Peace Prize winning economist from Bangladesh who change the lives of many with his vision of a bank that extends microcredit to the poor. This event is a fundraiser for RESULTS Canada.

LECTURE | Film Genre Lecture: DRAMA
It's that awesome film course you either wish you took, or wish you could work into your already full academic plate. Tonight is the first lecture in the "Making and Unmaking of a Genre Film" series. This is a series of detailed lectures given by cinema critic Shlomo Schwartzberg, where the "genre film" is explained and discussed: characteristics, historical examples, and more. The genre in question tonight is "drama", and films to be discussed include "Citizen Kane," "The Godfather," "Casablanca," and others.

MUSIC | Lemonheads
The Lemonheads will grace our fair city with a show tonight at Lee's! These guys have been at it since the mid-'80s, believe it or not, despite the fact that they only starting bleeping on the pop culture radar in the very early '90s with their great album, "It's a Shame about Ray." We all remember the "Mrs. Robinson" single, too, which may have been cringe-worthy to more seasoned ears, but was a very successful single for these guys. Things kind of petered out for them at the end of the '90s, and they went on hiatus until six years ago, and have been back at it with a vengeance. They have been doing shows playing the full "It's a Shame about Ray" album since last September, and it's likely that tonight's show will be one of these full-album sets.
