THEATRE | The Rocky Horror Show
Because everyone should experience The Rocky Horror Show live for the Halloween season, the Lower Ossington Theatre brings back this cult classic to Toronto's stages tonight. The story of a young couple that discovers a group of strange people at a convention, The Rocky Horror Show is a horror comedy that was originally written for the stage by Richard O'Brien in 1973 but was popularized in the mainstream by the 1975 film starring Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon. A sing-along show will take place on Thursday the 27th and the show runs until Halloween night. It's worth the drive to the Annual Transylvanian Convention!

FILM | Toronto After Dark Film Festival
Now in its 6th year, the Toronto After Dark Film Festival returns tonight for an 8-day takeover of the Toronto Underground Cinema. Short films and features from the horror, sci-fi, action and cult genres will be screened throughout the upcoming week beginning tonight with Jesse T. Cook's opening gala film Monster Brawl, where Frankenstein, Werewolf and Lady Vampire battle it out to determine the greatest monster of all. Other intriguing films that will screen later on in the week include the grindhouse film Father's Day, the supernatural Absentia and the succinctly named cult horror Some Guy Who Kills People. The festival closes October 27th.

MUSIC | A Tribute to Bill Withers with the John Campbell Band
Bill Withers, the American singer known for songs like "Ain't No Sunshine" and "Lean on Me," was the subject of a 2009 documentary Still Bill, which will be screened tonight at Trane Studio. Following the film, The John Campbell Band will play a set of Withers' most famous--and less famous--songs, including "Lovely Day" and "Just The Two of Us." Surprise guests are also scheduled to perform at this tribute event for the Grammy Award-winning soul and blues musician whose iconic work defines American music of the 1970s.

ART | Degenerate Art
Oscar Wolfman is reclaiming the term "degenerate art." A term typically applied by Nazis to artworks by Jewish and gay artists as well as politically challenging pieces, Wolfman is redefining the phrase to acknowledge who he is as an artist. In his solo exhibit Degenerate Art, the artist applies the German phrase "entartete kunst," to his untitled works of the same vein, works that speak about who he is and how he, himself, would have been considered degenerate. The exhibit opens tonight and runs until November 4th.

FOOD | Delicious Food Show
Foodies of Toronto will convene at the Ex this weekend as the Delicious Food Show kicks off tonight. The weekend's events include book signings with celebrity chef Mark McEwan, cooking competitions with Chef Corbin Tomaszeski and appearances by Chef David Rocco, Chef Lynn Crawford and Top Chef host Padma Lakshi in addition to seminars and booths of local vendors who will be sampling and selling their foods. The show runs until Sunday evening. Eat your heart out!
