CULTURE | 2011 Roncesvalles Polish Festival
Craving kielbasa and pączki? Curious about Polish rap? Interested in breaking the Guinness World Record for most people dancing the Polonez? Kicking off today, Toronto's Little Poland will shut down Roncesvalles Avenue to celebrate this unique European culture with food, music and traditional dance. A large Saturday afternoon parade and discounts at Polish-owned businesses are promised along with dance parties, workshops and vendors selling Polish goods and treats. Come down to Roncy for one big Polish party! The festival ends Sunday evening.

ART | Queen West Art Crawl
Queen West is going to be crawling with art lovers this weekend during the 9th annual Queen West Art Crawl. QWAC will include a large art show and sale in Trinity Bellwoods Park (790 Queen Street West) featuring the works of over 250 artists. Exhibitions and evening parties will be happening at cafĂŠs, bars and galleries up and down Queen West during the Parkdale Nightcrawl and doors will be open all day until Sunday to sneak a peek at what is happening in Toronto's thriving artistic community. Listen to talks and crawl along on a tour at one of the city's best visual arts events.

DRINK | Toronto Beer Week 2011
It wouldn't be Toronto without multiple festivals for the things we love, so why shouldn't there be yet another beer fest? This week, Toronto Beer Week begins with bars and restaurants across the city hosting sampling parties, including a beer and cheese party at Castro's Lounge (2116E Queen Street East) and a Kensington Brewing Company tasting at Burger Bar (319 Augusta Avenue) happening tonight. The launch party happens at the Amsterdam Brewery (21 Bathurst Street) and a large schedule of events will continue across the city until September 24th.

CULTURE | Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival
From Poland to Ukraine in a short walk, the Bloor West Village will play host to a festival to celebrate Ukrainian culture in Toronto this weekend. In its 15th year the Toronto Ukrainian Festival is one of the biggest in North America, attracting half a million people each year and this year's celebration expects a larger crowd. TUF emphasizes traditional and contemporary Ukrainian music and this year, there will be a film festival with 12 scheduled films by Ukrainian directors being screened for free. Join the Ukrainian community by enjoying the entertainment and the Saturday morning parade that takes place at 11AM.

THEATRE | The Underpants
What happens when a housewife's underpants drop in the middle of the King's parade? The men in town start paying attention! The Underpants is the adaptation of German playwright Carl Sternheim's 1910 play Die Hose about a married couple that suddenly has to deal with men hopeful of an affair with the previously unnoticed woman whose underwear made a very public appearance. Written by comedian Steve Martin (The Jerk himself) in 2002, the performance explores the politics of sex in pre-war bourgeois Europe. The Underpants plays in Toronto until the 24th.
