Radar: Trampoline Hall, City and Colour, Rowers Pub Reading Series, "She Wore Red", Elvis Monday, Short & Sweet

CULTURE | Trampoline Hall
Trampoline Hall returns, once again, to The Garrison this evening. This much anticipated lecture-meets-'spectacle' with a dash of "happening," always delivers! A lineup of "non-expert" guest lecturers, unique to each event, deliver the goods on unusual, and eccentric subject matter, that nearly always borders on the ridiculous. Tonight Steve Kado has put together an intellectual menu of three lectures that will leave you enlightened, laughing, and scratching your noggin.
The Garrison (1197 Dundas Street West) 7:30PM $5

MUSIC | City and Colour perform at Sugar Beach
City And Colour (aka Dallas Green from Alexisonfire), will be performing a free show tonight as part of 102.1 The Edge's Sugar Beach Sessions series, which is presented in association with NXNE. The new City And Colour album, "Little Hell", will be dropping tomorrow, and this is the official release party! Tracks from the new disc will be performed, as well as other favourites.
Edge Studio @ Sugar Beach (25 Dockside Avenue) 8:15PM FREE

LITERATURE | Rowers Pub Reading Series
This well-known reading series takes plce the frst Monday of every month, from October until June, which means that this will be the last one for a few months! Both established and emerging writers share their work in an intimate, and even more importantly - licensed - setting. Tonight Ray Hsu, Anne Simpson, and Cordelia Strube will give readings.
Harbord House (150 Harbord Street) 7:30PM FREE

FILM | "She Wore Red" Premiere Toronto Screening
It's a big night for this brand new independent film from Severed Studios. "She Wore Red" is a modern detective story, with a lawyer forced out of his mundane existence into the role of sleuth, as he searches for his missing lover. Come out and find out "who did it", and show your support for local filmmakers at the Bloor Cinema tonight.
Bloor Cinema (506 Bloor Street West) 7PM $5/PWYC
