MUSIC | Help Japan Benefit Show
In every nook and cranny of our city, you will find groups of people supporting Japan in an array of powerful ways. Slapback Media is doing their part with a benefit concert tonight at The Garrison. Bringing indie-rockers together to support the cause, the evening's line up will include performances by Modernboys Moderngirls, Make Your Exit, The Elwins, HotKid and more. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross of Japan.

FILM | LIFT presents Spring 2011 Artist in Residence Enrico Mandirola
LIFT, otherwise known as the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto is honored to be sharing the works of Bogota-based filmmaker Enrico Mandirola. Since his residency at LIFT, Mandirola has produced two new films, El cuento, a 30-minute reflection on war and A l'aube, a short film. He is no stranger to the cinema, having screened his films throughout the years at TIFF, Torino Film Festival and more. Post-screening, he will be there in person to discuss his work and answer questions in the intimate setting of CineCycle.

MUSIC | Hip-Hop Karaoke: Round #51
Hip-hop Karaoke at Revival has gained quite the reputation for being one of the city's most rambunctious and most fun karaoke nights. That could be in part due to the repertoire, which is all old school rap and hip-hop. Can you say stellar? Respect must be paid to the talent that braves it in front of the mic. With a steady track record of great success, it is a killer night, full of good peeps and good beats.

OPERA | Rose Marie (French Girl + English Boy = A Canadian Love Story)
Rose Marie isn't your typical opulent opera but rather it's a "fusion of stunning music, high fashion, art and design." And the story is just as magical. A French-Canadian girl, living in the Rockies falls in love with a English-Canadian miner. The tale of their love will unfold on stage - with its share of ups and downs of course - and popular melodies will abound. This isn't your grandmother's opera.

MUSIC | Trio Fibonacci @ Gallery 345
Trio Fibonacci is comprised of three extremely talented musicians, violinist Julie-Anne Derome, cellist Gabriel Prynn and pianist Stephanie Chua. This dynamic threesome has traveled the world, from South Africa, to Chile to China and Japan, sharing their extraordinary talents and brilliant renditions of both classic chamber pieces and contemporary pieces. Tonight's programme at Gallery 345 will feature two favourites as well as two brand-new pieces premiering for the Toronto audience.
