DOCUMENTARY | Roads Less Traveled Series Launch Party
The Roads Less Traveled Series is launching tonight with a wee celebration that is sure to be both fun and enlightening. This 13-part series created and hosted by the young pioneer, Natalie Kantor has her traveling, "in search of today's most unconventional lifestyles around the globe and the people who choose to live them." Along with the episode one trailer premiere, hear Kantor herself speak as well as David Masters, who stars in episode 1: ECO WARRIOR. Music and entertainment will follow.

DANCE | Introducing Baby Boyz - 2011 Annual Showcase Presentation
Immerse yourself in a spectacular dance performance courtesy of Dance Immersion. The show opening tonight and only running until Saturday is Baby Boyz, an urban dance story following the lives of three young men from Africa, Jamaica and Canada who all share the same dream - to dance. This is dance like you've never seen it before, illustrated before your eyes with determination, gusto and unbridled talent.

POETRY | Tightrope Books launches Jim Johnstone's Sunday, the locusts
Born and bred in Toronto, poet Jim Johnstone is launched his latest book of poetry entitled Sunday, the locusts tonight at The Ossington, a cozy and hip spot on the avenue of the same name. He is the founder and editor of Misunderstandings Magazine and poetry editor of Cactus Press and Tightrope Books is thrilled to present his newest project for all to enjoy.

INNOVATION | Neri Oxman: "Mediated Matter"
Saying that Neri Oxman is an innovative mind would be a gross understatement; this architect and designer is amazing people throughout the continent with her ground-breaking research in the field of media arts. Tonight engage in a discussion about, "how we can contribute to human and environmental good by learning about material and design from nature." Hosted by OCAD and sponsored by TD Financial Group, this is a unique opportunity to expand the mind and learn something new.

FASHION | Success is Chic: Making it in the fashion industry
Come learn from seasoned pros the ins and outs of the dynamic fashion industry. Some of the greatest minds in this innovative industry will be gathering at the Drake tonight to share their wisdom with those lucky enough to be in attendance. Panelists will include Ben Barry, Cynthia Florek, Susan Langdon and Shawna Robinson among many phenomenal others. After the panel session, attendees will have the opportunity to network with panelists and others.
