WALKING TOUR | Queen West Graffiti Tour
You don't necessarily need a walking tour to see graffiti, but if you'd rather see some great art as apposed to dicks spray painted on walls - you might want to jump on the Queen West Graffiti Tour. You'll meet at The Paddock then be guided by renowned graffiti artist Jeff Brick Wall (with a name like that, how could he get into anything else?) along the southern alleys off Queen St. Then afterwards you'll head back to The Paddock where I'll assume you'll be pressured into buying a Heinken, since they are sponsoring the walk, and you can try out your own graffiti skills on a less permanent canvas, a "virtual graffiti wall".

THEATRE | Happily Every After
If you're in your 20s, between your time as a kid and your teenage years spent babysitting, you could recite all of the Disney classics. Well now you can see all the characters you grew up with like Goldilocks, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty in a brand new play put on at the Bathurst Street Theatre. Happily Ever After follows these characters but in a new light - looking at gender stereotypes and monotony.

MUSIC | Light Fires
If you've been to any live shows in this city, you've seen Gentleman Reg. Between his month long residency at The Drake, to his tour with The Hidden Cameras, he's a pretty busy guy. So I have no idea where he found the time for a new project. He's now teamed up with Ohbijou's James Bunton to create Light Fires, who recently played a smash debut show at The Beaver. They'll now be closing off the Granny Boots series with openers Rouge.

PARTY | Bassmentality
One of Parkdales biggest weekly parties is back after a week hiatus, and is promising to be better than ever. Wrongbars dub-step party, Bassmentality is featuring Bombaman, Marcus Visionary and The Frandiscos, along with their resident DJ's The Killabits. For more information check out their Facebook group and if you can decipher all the slashes and triangles, then this show is probably for you.

MUSIC | Uproar Festival
Bust out your beer t-shirts and oversized black jeans... the Uproar Festival is in town. If you couldnt guess by the title, this festival features some of the most aggressive, in-your-face nu metal around. Get your senses assaulted by Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed and Stone Sour. Then spend the day suckin' back Rockstar Energy drink like its milk straight from the Gods teet. And make sure to get all of your built up angst towards your parents and high school girlfriend out by getting your mosh on in the pit. Gnarly. (Imagine all of that was read to you over a megaphone by Chad Kroeger.)

FREE CONCERTS | Lexus Live at the Distillery
This weekend, from August 27th - 29th, the Distillery District will be home to four free live concerts featuring The Stills (Friday 8-9pm), Lily Frost (Saturday 12-1pm), The Midway State (Saturday 5-6pm) and The Paper Lions (Sunday 3-4pm).
