THEATRE | Twelfth Night
Outdoor Shakespeare is all the rage this summer. With the Dream in High Park continuing the tradition of al fresco productions of the Bard's greatest works with its Romeo and Juliet, Canopy Theatre is setting up a stage in Philosopher's Walk to perform a ten-show run of Twelfth Night. Although less well-known than the High Park series, Canopy has been presenting outdoor theatre for ten years using casts of young artists, many of whom have gone on to starring roles in major festivals like Stratford and Shaw. This year's production of the classic comedy of mistaken identity is directed by Jeremy Hutton, the founding artistic director of the Toronto Youth Theatre.

BOOKS AND LIT | C Magazine: the Supernatural
Ever get the feeling that there's more to the world than what can be seen by the naked eye? Neither do I, but the people at C Magazine seem to think there is. They've dedicated a whole issue of their international arts quarterly to the supernatural, and tonight they're unveiling the magazine with a launch party and metaphysical forum. Artist Peter Hobbs, whose previous projects include Elk Radio and Investing in the Spiritual Life of Bad Animals, will be joined by video sculptor Jenn E. Norton and C Magazine editor Amish Morrell to present works created at the intersection between occult spiritualism and pop culture.

COMMUNITY | Good Evidence Night at the Gladstone
An unfortunate trend in development work is that there is a tendency for western organizations to dictate the policies enacted in developing communities. Good Evidence is a new nonprofit organization that seeks to reverse that pattern by producing videos on existing successful projects that are built from the ground up, thereby challenging stereotypes about development and presenting inspiring models that can be acted on. Tonight's event at the Gladstone is a coming out party of sorts for the organization, which is just getting off the ground. Organizers encourage anyone who's interested in what they do to attend and learn how to get involved.

PARTY | Big Trouble in Little Portugal
I don't think Scott Cudmore likes his apartment. Between making awesome music videos and deejaying awesome parties, he apparently finds any excuse to be out of the house. Tonight he revives his weekly Bring It On Home party, which had a long-running Tuesday residency at Sweaty Betty's. It's got a new location and a new name, but Big Trouble in Little Portugal will bring you the same old school vinyl jams that packed Betty's on a regular basis. I've never heard of the Unlovable either, but that is an awesome name for a bar.

MOTOR SPORTS | Street Fest
Can't Toronto go a week this summer without some crazy spectacle taking over our streets? First G20, then Pride, then those Spanish people. It all makes me long for the winter days when I'm scared to leave my house for fear of being trapped in the snow and eaten by racoons. This weekend the Honda Indy will be noise-polluting the west end into submission, and in advance of the race Yonge-Dundas square is hosting Street Fest, a two-day celebration of speed that includes tire change races and an appearance by Canadian bad boy Paul Tracy. You can also get close to some real Indy cars and race in a Honda simulator. Runs til Wednesday.
