The founder of influential DIY Seattle label K records, and singer of bands such as the Beat Happening, Halo Benders and the Dub Narcotic Sound System, Calvin Johnson has been a huge influence on the indie-rock community since the early '80's. This special performance pairs him with Toronto's Andre Charles Theriault for a rare solo live appearance.

FILM | The Wright Stuff: A Double Bill Pope
Shaun of the Dead / Hot Fuzz director Edgar Wright returns to Toronto for a special double-bill screening and discussion with fellow filmmaker Bill Pope, who's been cinematographer for some of the most visually stunning and successful films ever, including The Matrix trilogy and the Spider-Man series. The films they have selected to show are Sam Raimi's Army of Darkness and Trey Parker and Matt Stone's Team America: World Police.
