For those who prefer Brazilian horror flicks to French art films, Rue Morgue offers a one-time screening of Coffin Joe's bizarre, satanic film At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul. The star/director will make his first Toronto public appearance at the show, followed by a Q&A session.
The Bloor Cinema, 506 Bloor W / $15 / 9:30pm

MUSIC | The Veils w/ Foreign Born and Faces On FIlm

GALLERY | Noise Ghost
Contemporary-art expert Nancy Campbell continues to champion Inuit artists in Toronto, pairing Shuvinai Ashoona with local multimedia fabulist Shary Boyle. Like all of Justina M. MUSIC | Queensryche in Toronto
The veteran progressive metal band has been together since 1981, and remains one of the undisputed masters of the heavy metal genre. Although their popularity has waned since their heyday in the late eighties and early nineties, Queensryche's ten-album canon stands up as some of the more interesting and creative music of that era.
Phoenix, 410 Sherbourne St / $36.50

POETRY | 4Women Toronto Poetry Slam Fundraiser
A night of poetry from wicked local poets, drinks, and silent action with great prizes to help the 2009/2010 Toronto slam team get to West Palm Beach, Florida.
