Condo crisis looms according to some experts


Will Toronto's glass-walled condominiums need expensive retrofits in the next 10 to 15 years? In an article from the CBC, an industry expert claims that within this time span many of these types of units "will fail." Also cited as problematic is the possibility of insulation failures, water leaks, poor energy efficiency, and of course, lowered resale value.

Given the preponderance of these types of structures on the Toronto skyline, this could become a huge problem. But are the predictions over the top?
