Canadian celebrities appear in It Gets Better video
The It Gets Better Project got an injection of Canadian celebrites yesterday. Founded by sex-columnist Dan Savage in the wake of a string of gay American teenagers taking their own lives in response to bullying, the series of videos has featured high-profile names like Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton and Adam Lambert. Now you can add George Smitherman, Rick Mercer, Ann-Marie MacDonald and a host of other Canadians to the list.
The video, which is both heartbreaking and uplifting, is a must watch. For everyone.
