Miller says mayoral frontrunners (except Pantalone) are 'Rob Ford lites'

While he did some campaigning this morning for his choice in Ward 18 Davenport Kevin Beaulieu, Mayor Miller took a moment to take some shots at the municipal frontrunners.

"They're turning out to be Rob Ford lites," he said, according to a post by OpenFile. "Except for Joe Pantalone, all the candidates are talking about tearing down the city and they're talking about accounting issues."

Miller laughed at Rossi's 'Toronto Tunnel' plan saying, "It won't cost $4 billion. It will cost $10 [billion]. What do you do when it connects to the Gardiner? Knock down CityPlace?"

He added that all the talk about controlling wasteful spending is unfounded, since, to his mind, there has not been a single example of frivolous City Hall spending in the past seven years. Anyone care to counter?
