In typical Toronto news, another battle is being fought over the height of a new condominium near Yonge and Bloor.

Urban Capital Property Group has been pining to add six additional storeys to its St. Nicholas Street tower. However, since the committee of adjustment has just rejected its application, it seems the condo will remain 29 storeys. (Of course, there's always the option to appeal.)

Urban Capital originally applied to build a 44-storey tower on the property in 2008. In the fall, the city approved 29 storeys, and developers requested six more storeys in May. The addition would see 54 units added to the property, which has neighbours concerned about added congestion to the area.

According to the Toronto Star, some units on the proposed six floors have already been sold. Urban Capital has until August 31 to file an appeal.
