Pearson to offer free WiFi

Pearson International Airport is finally offering free WiFi.

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority announced today it has struck a marketing deal with Rogers Communications (maybe in exchange for some Pearson sidewalk branding?) to provide the wireless service.

"Our guests have told us that being able to stay connected while at the airport is important to them and that they expect this service to be complimentary," Pamela Griffith-Jones, Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer for the GTAA said. "We are delighted that we were able to make this possible."

The GTAA said Toronto Pearson was named Most Improved Airport by airlines around the globe in a statement, even though it has no sense of humour.
