Giant G8 heads arrive in Toronto

No, I'm not talking about egos.

Eight giant papier mache heads of G8 leaders have arrived at the Oxfam headquarters in Toronto in preparation for the G8 and G20 summits.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron is the newest seven-kilogram head to join the cast, which is used during the summits and big international events to draw attention to Oxfam causes.

Oxfam Canada is part of an international development agency that works to tackle inequality, poverty, and injustice, with a specific focus on women's rights.

Eight volunteers will be recruited to don the heads during the event in Toronto, accompanied by escorts to help them navigate, as well as a stunt director to orchestrate the demonstration.

So, if you're looking for something a little lighter than the anarchist riot planned for G20 downtown, look for these heads. They'll be hard to miss.
