Live music picks for TUESDAY NOVEMBER 28 through SATURDAY DECEMBER 3, 2011.

TUESDAY NOVEMBER 29 / DIGITALISM / THE MOD CLUB /722 COLLEGE / $20 / 19+
Fans of electro-house are probably already familiar with this German duo, who arrived on the scene in 2004. Throughout their career, they've made a name for themselves with their remixes of songs by artists such as Daft Punk, The White Stripes, and Depeche Mode. But their original work is nothing to sneeze at. Vancouver duo Data Romance is also on the bill.

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 30 / DEVON WILLIAMS / THE GARRISON / 1197 DUNDAS W / $12 / 19+

Devon Williams, formerly of the bands Osker and Lavender Diamond, may be considered a polarizing figure in the industry, but there's no denying the man's talent. He's currently touring in support of his latest album, Euphoria. It's pretty easy to get lost in his music, which has a vague dreamlike quality to it — cliched, I know, but check it out and you'll see. Persian Rugs and Grounders will offer support.

THURSDAY DECEMBER 1 / FEIST / MASSEY HALL / 178 VICTORIA / $47.39 - $67.39 / ALL AGES

Whether she's performing as a member of Broken Social Scene, having her song featured in a iPod commercial, or having a cameo in the new Muppets flick, there's no denying that Feist is one of Canada's most beloved artists. Her latest album, Metals, was released back in October, and it's one of the better albums that I've heard all year. Plus, the woman puts on one hell of a live show.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 2 / GHOSTFACE KILLAH / SOUND ACADEMY / 11 POLSON / $29.50 / 19+

As a member of the infamous, legendary Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah is arguably one the most recognizable and talented MCs in the history of rap. His last album, 2010's Apollo Kids, was filled with memorable guest appearances and proved that, after all these years, Ghostface still has it. It might not be on par with the Kanye West/Jay-Z concert from a week ago, but this one will still be worth checking out.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 3 / ARKELLS / SOUND ACADEMY / 11 POLSON / $36.50 / ALL AGES

This one is part of the Jingle Bell Rock concert series, which is organized every year by 102.1 The Edge. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Daily Bread Food Bank, so you can feel good about yourself as you rock out. First up in the series is the Arkells, who I'm personally a huge fan of. They just released Michigan Left, the follow-up to the acclaimed Jackson Square, and they haven't missed a beat. Good tunes, a great local band, and it's for charity — you can't ask for much more than that. We Barbarians will open.
