Downtempo legends THIEVERY COPORATION headline the Kool Haus in support of Radio Retaliation, their seventh LP released in September of 2008. Martin Perna (aka OCOTE SOUL SOUNDS) will open, serving up Brazilian-influenced afrobeat that makes it impossible to stand still.

The Drake Underground will host the release party for EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME's new self-titled EP. Birmingham, UK's BROADCAST will release Broadcast and the Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age on October 26th, but lucky Toronto fans can get a sneak preview at Lee's this coming Saturday. DEERHUNTERS's Bradford Cox will open under his solo moniker ATLAS SOUND, fresh off the release of Logos. THE SELMANAIRES, an unsigned psychedelic/electronic Atlanta-based four piece, will provide additional support.

Brooklyn's WHITE RABBITS venture north of the border for the first time to play the Horseshoe Tavern. Their latest album It's Frightening was produced by Britt Daniel of SPOON and has received rave reviews across the board. Fellow lo-fi Brooklynites SUCKERS take the stage at 10:30 and Ottawa, Ontario's THE BALCONIES will belt out some melodic pop-rock to start the night off.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 25 / SUFJAN STEVENS: THE BQE / INNIS TOWN HALL / 2 SUSSEX AVE / $10 / ALL AGES
Originally premiered in November 2007, SUFJAN STEVENS' BQE project was commissioned by the Brooklyn Academy of Music to musically and cinematically explore NYC's infamous Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. The film, complete with Sufjan's symphonic, instrumental soundtrack, will be screened in its entirety at Innis Town Hall in the heart of the St. George campus.

MONDAY OCTOBER 26 / DAVID GRAY / MASSEY HALL / 178 VICTORIA ST / $54.50-$64.50 / ALL AGES
After a four-year studio hiatus, British singer-songwriter DAVID GRAY recently released Draw the Line, a gritty, folky album featuring a pair of duets with Annie Lennox and Jolie Holland. Gray's melancholy voice and self-reflective lyrics remain the focal points on the album, keeping the sound consistent with past efforts. The lone opening act is LISA HANNIGAN, the delicate voice that perfectly complimented Damien Rice for years. The Irish singer and multi-instrumentalist is currently touring in support of her debut solo LP Sea Sew.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 27 / MÚM / OPERA HOUSE / 735 QUEEN ST E / $20 / 19+
Icelandic experimentalists MÚM have a fine ear for detail, crafting epic songs that effortlessly conjure up earthly images of their homeland. Support act is SIN FANG BOUS, the solo project Sindri Sigfússon, founding member of SEABEAR. Expect to see more instruments that you can name combine to form folk-influenced art-pop gems during both sets.
