Not even the hacker group Anonymous can faze Rob Ford. The group posted a video threatening the mayor if he interfered with Occupy Toronto, but it looks like Ford couldn't care less. In response to the video, his office released a statement: "The mayor and city manager have been very clear over the past week. It's time this came to a peaceful conclusion." But maybe Ford's attitude wouldn't be so cavalier had he talked with St. Louis' mayor, Francis Slay, who was also targeted by the group. Last week, thousands of Slay's emails, as well as contact information for hundreds of his political backers, were posted online by hackers.

Despite Transport Canada's claim that side guards on trucks don't really make a difference when it comes to the safety, NDP MP Olivia Chow is planning to press the government to make the protection mandatory on trucks across the country anyway. This will be the third time she's tried to change the regulation. According to government stats from 2004 to 2006, 77 pedestrians and 24 cyclists died nationwide as a result of collisions with heavy vehicles in urban areas.

Here's a new way to appreciate art: conducting sun salutations in front of sculptures. This month at the AGO, a yoga class was introduced at the Henry Moore Sculpture Gallery. It's a part of new programming that's geared towards adults. Next up: a collabo with the Royal Conservatory that will have all sorts of musical ensembles playing their hearts out throughout the gallery.

if you're feeling the first signs of a flu, you might want to stop over at Acadia and down their Bundy-Bear, a new cocktail the restaurant's offering. The drink, which is a variation of a Dark and Stormy, includes two drops of eucalyptus oil, apparently a first for Toronto. The oil is basically like taking a Vicks, so drink up and clear your sinuses.
