Morning Brew: Toronto loves video games, parking tickets suck, green programs face Ford scrutiny and STILLEPOST is dead

Toronto is all about games this weekend. The second annual Gamercamp gets underway today at the Toronto Underground Cinema. The Globe and Mail marks the occasion by taking a look at the state of Toronto's gaming scene. According to the Globe, the city has the highest concentration of small studios in the country. So why can't I find arcade versions of Super Pac-Man anywhere?

Getting a parking ticket anytime always sucks, but it's especially infuriating when your street is being torn up for road work and you're forced to park overnight on other side streets where you'll get ticketed. Hey, parking enforcement officers, leave our displaced cars alone!

And the tree pruning backlog is about to get worse as the un-greening of our city begins. Many of the environmental programs started by Mayor David Miller are already under scrutiny and will probably end up on the chopping block with the incoming Ford administration.
