Morning Brew: National Post targets Jogs, Karen Stintz to chair TTC, Weston homes mapped

In the wake of the Dufferin Jog finally being resolved, the National Post has come up with a list of other jogs that should be on the City's to-do list. Beyond the Pape Jog (discussed yesterday), other worthy targets include Lawrence Avenue East (at Glendon College), the Junction (where Dundas West, Annette and Dupont intersect), Broadway Avenue between Mount Pleasant and Bayview and the Cherry Beach jog. What jogs or messy intersections would you add to the list?

In more jog news, here's a video of the speeches and ribbon cutting from Thursday's opening of the Dufferin underpass.

Three long-time allies and a conservative, Smitherman-supporter Councillor will fill four of the most important posts in the Ford administration. According to the Globe and Mail, Doug Holyday will be deputy mayor, Frances Nunziata will be council speaker, Mike Del Grande will be appointed budget chief and Karen Stintz will be Ford's choice to lead the TTC.

The Toronto Star has a map of the nine homes Metrolinx wants to knock down to build the Georgetown south rail expansion. Homeowners have up to a year to make their decision.
