WORLD OF COMEDY FILM FESTIVAL

SHAOLIN DELIVERY BOY tells the story of a struggling actor refusing to embrace the stereotype casting directors want him to portray. His friend helps him get in touch with his inner "Chinaman".

It screens tomorrow afternoon at 5PM at Innis Town Hall as part of the WORLD OF COMEDY FILM FESTIVAL - More Shorts - Programme #2. The director, Mark Cutforth discreetly handed me a rubber chicken on a keychain at last night's screening. "It's a gift," he said as I gleefully squeezed its belly to find out it was one of those novelty toys that laid eggs ... or at least attempted to.

Tonight however, you can catch the World Premiere of Canadian film SHARP AS MARBLES at 7PM followed by the 5th Anniversary Retrospective of MOC DOCs at 9.

And don't forget to catch the Animation and Mockumentary programme on Sunday at 5PM.

Tickets are $10 for all screenings. For more info, check the festivals website at www.worldcomedyfilmfest.com.
