Deez Knots Ties One On

One of the things I love about observing street fashion is that I get to watch trends emerge while others die. Over the last few seasons the number one accessory I've been seeing has been the frayed scarf. A lot of people still rock the chunky, wrapped up look but I've noticed a new look for the neck is coming up: the stylish, funky tie. Definitely not your daddy's paisley.

Deez Knots, a design firm comprised of the talented duo Chinedu Ukabam and Sophia Ha, just might have something to say about this fashion trend. Their line of ties and scarves features dynamic, eye-catching prints that are easily the highlight of any outfit.

Chinedu and Sophia launched the line at the Burroughes Building back in August. The show's aim was to highlight the versatility of ties. Eyeing the makeshift runway, I especially liked the little black dress paired with the floral black and pink tie.

The entire collection is now available on their Etsy as well as Parade at 261 Danforth Avenue.
