Mass Exodus: the future of Fashion

Following up on Justyna's post earlier this week, Mass Exodus 2005 once again packed the Ryerson theatre to capacity for every single show. The fashion showcase, put on by Ryerson fashion grads before they're own mass exodus out of the program, showcases collections crafted by students. This is no small event either. The who's who of the local (and sometimes not so local) fashion scene are there scoping out new talent and this year, once again, had plenty to choose from.

The show opened and closed with amazingly ornate avante garde pieces and in between came everything under the sun (or spotlights I should say): formal, casual, swimwear, lingerie, sports, mens, womens, kids, plus size, bling bling, etc etc etc. ;)

I got a rather close up view (still coughing up dry ice smoke) from the photographer's pit, so if you couldn't get a ticket in, you can check out the collections by clicking here to see some of the pics I tossed up online.
