Food Truck Eats to make Nuit Blanche more appetizing

Although a host of cafes and restaurants tend to extend their hours to service the rumbling stomachs of Nuit Blanche-goers, the food options for 2011 just got a lot more enticing. Having announced the full line-up for the third installment of Food Truck Eats today, the October 1st event will bring lots of late night eats to those wandering the streets for Toronto's annual all-night art affair. And, yes it does indeed run all night long — from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Given that there are only three Nuit Blanche exhibits at the Distillery District, the food truck festival will remain something of a destination, likely drawing folks from the main exhibition areas at the end of their nocturnal explorations. One could also make a mid-night stop to re-fuel, but the prospect of line-ups and a full stomach might be enough to kill the will to continue art-exploring.

Check out the event page for a list of the participating trucks and vendors, and let us know in the comments if you plan on making this a part of your night on October 1st.
