Pay what you can sandwiches

Pay what you can sandwiches in Kensington

Akram's Shoppe has resurfaced in Kensington Market. They officially opened their new location Wednesday and with it a novel marketing ploy to get people to come in and sample the goods. Each day they're offering a different sandwich at pay what you can (PWYC) prices. So, today, you can walk in and grab a roasted chicken with baba ganoush for whatever amount of cash or coins you feel like forking over.

Now that's what I call a deal. The last day of the PWYC sandwiches is Tuesday May 11th.
