As October comes to a close and we suffer through a particularly gloomy day, it seems like the right time to post our fall colours photo roundup for 2011. Composed of contributions to the blogTO Flickr pool, the collection below features photos from various parks around Toronto and more densely packed urban areas. We really are spoiled for our trees, which is nice to remember, especially when people get to talking about how this city will never be beautiful and all that.
If by chance these photographs inspire you to get out and shoot some of your own, you'll be happy to note many areas throughout the city are still showing some good colour and likely will be through the weekend. Should there be more good ones added to our pool, I'll append them to this post. Happy autumn (just don't think about winter). Lead photo by Christopher Liando
