Toronto Items Ebay

The weird world of Toronto items on Ebay

I would imagine that few people ever do a general search of the word "Toronto" on Ebay. After all, when one is searching for something on the online auction storehouse, he's normally after something at least slightly specific. But, that's almost a bit of a shame. It's really a rather interesting exercise to scout out all the strange items related to the city, be they collectibles, clothing or other assorted ephemera.

Although many of the almost 50,000 items tagged with Toronto on Ebay (as a description of the item rather than its location) are predictable -- Maple Leaf and Blue Jay memorabilia, event tickets and post cards -- there are loads of other items that nevertheless deserve mention, if only for for their oddity.

Here's an overview of stuff that I turned up in about 30 minutes of searching.
