Two Toronto Maple Leafs Make 2010 U.S. Men's Olympic Ice Hockey Team

While no Toronto Maple Leafs were selected to play for team Canada at the 2010 Olympic games, two did make the cut for team USA.

Immediately following the Boston Bruins 2-1 overtime victory over the Philadelphia Flyers (at the 2010 outdoor Winter Classic at Fenway Park) the American roster was unveiled.

Leafs forward Phil Kessel (22), and defenseman (and alternate captain) Mike Komisarek (27) are both heading to Vancouver to represent the United States at the games. Both were also booed by the crowd at Fenway when their names and team affiliations were announced.

Also worth noting is that Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Ron Wilson will be team USA's coach for the Olympics, and Leafs GM Brian Burke was part of the team selection committee.
