dec 15th and 16th storm

Put Your Boots On, Toronto

Turn on the TV, listen to the radio, or surf the local webbernet and you'll be sure to hear talk of the imminent winter storm that's coming our way today. Brace yourselves, Toronto. Predictions vary, but the concensus seems to be that the GTA will get A LOT of snow.

The last time we had so much hype leading up to a wintry storm was back on March 1st when a heavy snow storm came with thunder and lighting, and resulted in plenty of snow dropped in the city and several photos dropped in our Flickr pool. Let's do it again, this time tagging blogto_dec15storm.

Many flights from the Chicago hub are delayed and/or cancelled, power lines in US cities knocked down, and the roads are a mess. And we could be next. Toronto snow removal crews are on high alert, and Environment Canada and the media are asking people to forego their holiday shopping tomorrow. If you do head out there though, put your boots on, and take your cameras with you! Be safe.
